Privacy Policy

savethis is made by Hypersocial, Inc. (“we”, “us”). This policy describes what we collect when you use the savethis app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: your library is yours, we collect what we need to run the product, and we don’t sell your data or show you ads.

What we collect

• Account information. Your name and email address, provided when you sign in (including Sign in with Apple).
• Your saves. The links, notes, photos, and other content you save, plus the ratings you give (like, save, meh) — this is the product.
• Voice input. When you hold to talk, speech is transcribed and the transcript is used to answer your request. Audio recordings are not stored on our servers.
• Location. If you allow location access, it is used at the moment of a request (like finding nearby places) and is not stored.

How we use it

• To sync your library across your devices.
• To enrich your saves — fetching titles, covers, and details for the links you save.
• To personalize recommendations from your own saves and ratings (your “taste profile”).
• To provide support and keep the service secure.

Who processes it

We use a small set of service providers to run savethis: Clerk (authentication), Convex (backend and database), and AI model providers that process your requests and saved-item text to power search, organization, and recommendations. Providers act on our instructions and don’t use your content to advertise to you.

AI assistants you connect

If you connect savethis to an assistant like ChatGPT or Claude, that assistant can read from and save to your library only after you approve the connection, and only while it’s connected. What an assistant does with your data is governed by its own privacy policy; you can revoke the connection at any time.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell your personal data.
• We don’t show ads or share your data with advertisers.
• We don’t track you across other companies’ apps.

Your choices

You can delete individual saves at any time in the app. To delete your account and its data, use Sign out → delete account in the app profile or email us — we’ll complete deletion within 30 days.
